Switch from Linkwarden to Linkbry
Linkwarden is a strong open-source bookmark manager, built around preserving pages. Some teams move because they'd rather not run the server, or because they want team features around the links. Linkbry reads Linkwarden's JSON export directly, including nested collections.

Quick answer
Export your data from Linkwarden's settings as a JSON file, then upload it in Linkbry under Workspace settings → Import & export. Collections (including sub-collections) become nested folders; tags, descriptions and dates come across. Archived page copies don't.
- In Linkwarden, use the data export in its settings to download your links as a JSON file.
- Sign in to Linkbry and open Workspace settings → Import & export (or press ⌘K and choose Import).
- Choose the JSON file. Linkbry rebuilds your collections, including sub-collections, as nested folders.
- Check the summary for imported links, skipped duplicates and anything over your plan's limit.

Imports take up to 20,000 links (10 MB) per file, skip links already in the workspace, and stop at your plan's link limit. Export steps for other tools are described in general terms; their menus may differ.
What you give up
Be clear about this before moving: Linkwarden's core feature is preserving pages — screenshots, PDFs and full archived copies. Linkbry doesn't do that. It keeps the readable text of saved pages for full-text search and a reader view, and stores copies only of images and files you upload. If a link dies, Linkbry's broken-link checker tells you; it won't have a snapshot to fall back on.

Where Linkwarden is the better tool
Stay on Linkwarden if you need to self-host, if your data must stay on your own servers, or if page preservation is the point. Linkbry is a hosted service with no self-hosted option, and it isn't an archive.
